CINCINNATI – The Uptown Consortium Inc. has promoted Janelle Lee to the position of Director, Business Affairs. Lee has served as the organization’s office manager since 2004.
Lee joined the Consortium when it first began two years ago. In that time, she has continued to assume a larger role and greater responsibilities. Uptown Consortium president & CEO Tony Brown said of the promotion, “Lee’s performance reflects the outstanding work in managing not just the business affairs of Uptown Consortium, but its growth. The Consortium in just three years has grown to include eight affiliate businesses with aggregate operating budgets in excess of $15 million. In her new position, Lee will assume a broader set of responsibilities for managing the business, administrative and operational affairs of the Uptown Consortium and related entities.”
Prior to joining the Consortium, Lee worked in human resources at the University of Cincinnati for 11 years. She earned her Associate Business Degree from UC in 1985. Lee lives in West Chester with her husband, Ralph, and her two sons.
