TriHealth employee becomes first-time homeowner

Vickie Irby has a place to call home.

Hard work and helping hands bring new hope to a local woman.  Vickie Irby, a twenty-two year employee of TriHealth, recently closed on her very first home on Bellevue Avenue in Corryville.   Through a home assistance program provided by TriHealth and a mortgage program offered by the Uptown Consortium, Ms. Irby was able to make her lifelong dream reality.

SNB Development Group, an Uptown Consortium affiliate, has been working to rehabilitate residential properties in low income neighborhoods through the Neighborhood Improvement Program. Ms. Irby’s Corryville home is one of the group’s first completed renovation projects.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this great accomplishment with Ms. Irby,” said Tony Brown, the Uptown Consortium’s president and CEO. “As we work to preserve some of the beautiful homes in the area, it is rewarding to know that such deserving people, like Vickie, will soon have a place to call home.”

Family, friends and local officials gathered to celebrate at the new home with a house warming party on July 30.
