Parks & Neighborhood Revitalization

About

The purpose of the Uptown Parks and Neighborhood Revitalization Plan is to produce Master Plans for selected parks and their adjacent neighborhoods to address the needs and opportunities for improving, funding, and maintaining the parks through strategic redevelopment. The studied neighborhoods include Avondale, Clifton, Corryville, Clifton Heights-Fairview and Mt. Auburn. The objective of the Plan is to create a shared vision for preserving and promoting Uptown area parks as significant Cincinnati assets.

Final Master Plans

The following draft master plans for the Uptown Parks & Neighborhood Revitalization project were presented to the Uptown Consortium and the Cincinnati Park Board in mid-December 2006. The plans address comments provided to the Design Team during the October 2006 public meeting. The Design Team is currently in the process of finalizing the funding strategies and writing a final report.
