A strong tradition of recognizing leadership continues in Uptown with the announcement of this year's annual Uptown Cincinnati awards categories.
The Uptown Cincinnati awards are designed by and adjudicated by a subcommittee of the Uptown Consortium, comprising neighborhood leaders and Consortium staff.
Nominations and are due at 5 p.m., Monday, May 21. Criteria for the three awards are below, and nominations are made by describing why the nominee is deserving of recognition based on the criteria within each category.
Uptown Community Champion (Note: One award will be awarded in this category)
Community Champion nominees should:
- Demonstrate commitment to Uptown Cincinnati
- Demonstrate exemplary contributions to Uptown Cincinnati
- Be active in the neighborhood as a community connector, advocate and innovator

Innovative Small Business or Organization: 50 or fewer employees
Business nominees should:
- Demonstrate innovative business practice such as creative marketing efforts, innovative business ventures and unique product development or technology
- Demonstrate business success and growth

- Demonstrate commitment to community stewardship
